Singapore, 21 March 2019 – Homegrown SG:D Accredited company, iVideoSmart Pte Ltd (“IVS”), announces new funding round.
iVideoSmart recently closed a US$4.5 million Series A+ from leading investors which included Kickstart Ventures, Darwin Ventures and SGInnovate. Original investors, Monk’s Hill Ventures and EE Capital had also participated.
IVS is currently one of the largest independent video publishers in the region delivering over 150m video views on 500m pages and reaching over 80m unique users across its network of media publishers in 5 countries. Its smart widgets provide content contextual matching to recommend relevant videos for better user engagement. Its “HotSpot” video solution provides programmatic and optimised direct from video to eCommerce affiliate conversion, empowering publishers to deliver call-to-action and performance-based offerings to advertisers.
IVS’ CEO, Sze Chin (SQ) Lee said, “We welcome the funding and the renewed faith and support that our investors are offering us. The company plans to use the proceeds for commercial and technical expansion as well as business development. With headquarters in Singapore and operations in Southeast Asia, it is looking at expanding its Asia footprint.
